No allegations against me in Panama leaks: PM Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that there are no allegations against him in Panama leaks but still the government wants to form a commission to bring forth the truth before the nation.

Talking to media persons in London before departure, Nawaz Sharif said that his medical reports are satisfactory, thus, he is leaving for Pakistan.

He urged the political opponents not to hinder Pakistan’s progress.

“People of Pakistan want peace and progress, not politics of sit-ins,” he added.

To a question, he said that some immature politicians want to revive the same old negative politics which had been buried in the decades of 90s.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that an inquiry commission to probe Panama leaks will be finalised soon. He said that Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan has briefed him about contacts made with judges for formation of the commission.
