Islamabad:  The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat in Islamabad has directed 116 Pakistan Missions across the world to redress the complaints of overseas Pakistanis within one week.

Ahsan Ahmad Khokhar Advisor Law and Grievance Commissioner for overseas Pakistanis while chairing a high level meeting in Islamabad said that Online Complaint System in 39 countries across the world would be updated and brought in conformity with the  changing needs of the time.

He directed the representative of Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) to ensure the implementation of one window facilitation desk at all major airports. In order to create awareness among overseas Pakistanis he directed the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to give due time to coverage of issues of over 8.1 million Pakistanis living abroad and contributing billions of dollars in Pakistan economy. The meeting was participated by representatives of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, OPF, Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment (BE and OE) Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
