ISLAMABAD - Iranian national kabaddi team will be featuring in the forthcoming 31st National Games 2009, scheduled to be held in Peshawar from November 14 to 20, an official of Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) told The Nation here Tuesday. He further said that the suggestion was tabled by the PKF in the meeting of NWFP Olympic Association. "The organising committee of the event appreciated the suggestion of the kabaddi federation and allowed PKF to request Iranian kabaddi team to visit Pakistan. Also, Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) welcomed this step of the federation," he said. "Later, the federation contacted the Iran Kabaddi Federation and they agreed with the proposal of PKF and promised their participation in the event. It will be good for the Pakistan kabaddi and will be nice opportunity for the local teams to compete with the best team of the region.
