LAHORE - Hundreds of PTI workers are sending messages through facebook and SMS to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and office-bearers of PML-N, expressing complete disappointment over their leadership’s attitude. Most of these workers belong to KP.

They were of the view that Imran Khan, by giving the call of civil disobedience after demanding a technocrat government, had himself destroyed the party. Majority of the workers said that they were already disappointed with the attitude of Imran Khan at the public meeting in Islamabad, but he had shown political immaturity by giving the call of civil disobedience which had sparked public anger while people of the entire country from all walks of life were talking against him.

A worker in his message said, “Our opponents should stop messages as Imran Khan is enough to destroy PTI.” Another worker from KP wrote, “We are facing stormy rains, but Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak is dancing before TV channels in Islamabad.” Another message termed this dance “Raqs-e-Iblees”.

A student of matriculation from Akora Khattak said, “Can Shahbaz Sharif not become our chief minister for only two years.” A supporter of ANP from Peshawar in his message said the people of the province had no concern with the statement of PTI about disconnection of supply of electricity from Tarbela to Punjab. A supporter of PTI in his message said Imran Khan had totally disappointed them. He added they were reading the following couplet:

Rukh-e-Roshan Ka Roshan Ek Pehlu Bhi Nahi Nikla

Jise Ham Chand Samjhay Thay Wo Suraj Bhi Nahi Nikla

The chief minister has directed his staff to reply to these messages individually and assure the people of KP that like the previous earthquake and flood, the people of Punjab were standing by their affected brethren. In reply to a message regarding disconnection of electricity from Tarbela to Punjab, the chief minister said that if any of his ministers had given such a remark about KP or any other province he would have shut him up.
