ISLAMABAD - The annual general council meeting of Sindh Squash Association (SSA) has elected Haji Muzaffar Ali Shujra as its new president. The meeting, held in Karachi, was chaired by SSA vice president Imran Khan and participated by Abdul Samad Khan (Hyderabad), Imran Khan and Amir Khan (Karachi), Sajid Khan (Sukkur) and Jamil Ahmed Khan (Mirpur Khas). The house raised serious concerns over the poor performance of SSA president Tahir Jamil and unanimously passed a resolution against him in which they removed him as president and elected Haji Muzaffar as new chief. Sindh Olympics Association (SOA) secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput participated in the meeting as observer. He greeted Muzaffar for new responsibility and hoped he would do his best to promote the game in the province.–Staff Reporter
