Indian army claimed to kill freedom fighter in occupied J&K

Srinagar- A freedom fighter was killed in an encounter at Balwan sector in Karnah area of occupied Kashmir's Kupwara district today morning.
A senior Indian army official told sources that army's 5/5 GR launched a massive search operation following the suspicious movement at Dhanni forest area along the Line of Control.
As the army intensified the combing operation, the freedom fighters hiding in the area opened fire upon the forces, ensuing a brief encounter, reports said.
"During an encounter a freedom fighter was killed and the body along with an AK-47 rifle was recovered from the site," the official he said.
