ISLAMABAD (STAFF REPORTER): Pakistan Embassy is continuing with its hectic efforts to provide relief to the affected Pakistanis and get all detained released from Libyan jails.

According to a Foreign Office statement issued here on Monday, out of the total 175 Pakistani detainees 107 have been already got released.

The case for release of 68 Pakistani detainees at Tavesha detention centre, where clashes are ongoing between rival militias, is already in process.

The number of Pakistanis in the relief camps set up by Pakistan Embassy has now jumped to 1700 and is increasing by the day. Additional flights to bring back the stranded Pakistanis are scheduled for later this week.
