BAHAWALPUR
IUB/GSCWU Vice-Chancellor Dr Saleem Tariq Khan inaugurated the tree plantation campaign at University College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences by planting a sapling here on Monday.
Addressing on the occasion, the VC that IUB had been planting the saplings for the martyrs and workers of the Pakistan Movement who struggled and sacrificed their lives to provide a strong and deep rooted tree Pakistan for sheltering masses and the nation should never forget their struggle and sacrifices with the pledge to keep Pakistan united and would not hesitate to sacrifice for the integrity and solidarity of the country.
Faculty of Science and Education Dean Dr Asghar Hashmi, Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Dr Mehmood Ahmed, University College of Agriculture Principal Dr Mouazam Jamil, Forestry Department Chairman Dr Tanveer Hussain Turabbi, faculty members and students also planted plants on the occasion.
