KARACHI: Crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as law enforcement agencies apprehended three workers of a political party during operation in different parts of the city on Thursday night.

According to details, the law enforcement agencies personnel carried out an operation near Lal Masjid at Jamshaid Road and arrested two persons.

The law enforcement agencies also conducted an operation near Teen Hatti area of Liaquatabad and arrested one person.

Sources said that the arrested persons belonged to a political party who were later shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.

The Police also conducted a combing operation in Orangi Town on Thursday, where they recovered arms and arrested 30.

Sources said that the police searched from door to door and arrested suspects, who were then shifted to Pakistan Bazaar police station.

Superintendent Police (SP) Orangi Town Ali Asif told that combing operation was conducted to get rid of criminals. Police commandos and police women were also part of the operation
