The population in the Gwadar district of Balochistan is increasing day by day. However, there remains a dearth of lady doctors. In hospitals crowded with female patients, there is hardly any lady doctor. Women who are conceiving travel to different areas in search of female doctors to deliver their child. In a large district like Gwadar, all facilities must be provided to the masses. On a visit to the area, I found out that many women suffering from illnesses did not get treatment because there were no females to treat them. I request the government to look into the matter and establish medical facilities in the area run by female practitioners. Moreover, the government must also motivate female students to pursue medicine so that problems like these do not occur nationwide.
