SHEIKHUPURA-Dacoits made off with the dowry items of the daughter of an expatriate, who has recently returned from Germany, in Mouza Ghazi Minara in the limit Sadar police station.
Talking to journalists here, Abdul Majid criticised the poor law and order situation in the district. He returned from Germany to celebrate his daughter’s wedding. The intruders held the family at gunpoint and looted the valuables including gold ornaments, electronic goods, cash and other precious items and escaped, the expatriate said. The victim demanded the police high ups should intervene into the matter and recover the booty.
