PIA Premier leaves behind 16 passengers

LAHORE - A PIA Premier flight took off for London yesterday, leaving 16 confirmed passengers behind at Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to a spokesman for the national flag carrier, the passengers reported around 30 minutes before the flight time when check-in counters had already been closed.

Passengers are encouraged to report three hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights, and if they do not report one hour before the flight time, boarding cards are issued to chance passengers, the spokesman added.

“This is an international norm which all airlines follow.”

The passengers of flight PK-757 were accommodated free of cost in the next available flights, the spokesman further said.
