The Pakistan flag is a green field with a white crescent moon and five-rayed star in its centre, and a vertical white strip at the left side. Moreover, the Pakistani flag colour is dark green. However, light green and even red and blue flags were being sold at market places. Pictures of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal were being printed on the Pakistani flag. One can argue that all these slogans and pictures are printed on the national flag to celebrate Independence Day, but the sanctity of the flag should never be compromised.

The government should make laws for printing flags. The government should take action against those people who are printing different coloured flags and selling them in the market. After the August 14 celebrations, flags are found lying on streets. As a nation, we should respect our flag.
