LAHORE  -  Deputy chief of the Jamaat-i- Islami, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has urged the new government to take a strong stance against the competition of profane caricatures in Holland to demonstrate its love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).  In a statement here on Saturday, he also called upon the Muslim rulers to sever diplomatic and trade ties with such countries as were involved in desecration.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that every believer was committed to protect the respect and sanctity of the noble Prophet. He said that Allah Almighty had Himself praised the noble Prophet and all the satanic forces in the world could not lower the image of the Holy Prophet. He said that divine curse was bound to fall on all those who were involved in the desecration of the noble Prophet.  Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that the PTI government would have to take a bold stand.
