ISLAMABAD - Female tenpin bowler Sania Alam Khan will attend a tenpin bowling coaching course in Malaysia in the first week of September.

Secretary Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation Ijaz ur Rehman said it would be first time that a female would be trained as tenpin coach as the country does’nt have a single female tenpin bowling coach available.

He said Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation has decided to send Sania to attend the course and as federation has almost zero resources, Saina will have to bear all the expenses herself.

While sharing her views, Sania said: “There is nothing going to be worth more than attending the course and becoming the first-ever female tenpin bowling coach. Off course money matters, but not more than the joy and the sense of creating history.”

She thanked Ijaz and the PTBF for keeping faith in her abilities and assured that she will try to pay back and pass on her knowledge to other females.

Belonging to the remote area of Lakki Marwat Sania is optimistic that more and more females will come and play tenpin bowling from far-flung areas of the country. “If my parents can permit me then why not others also follow the same?” She said the tenpin is being played under highly safe, secure and conducive environment and I don’t feel that parents would have any issues of letting their daughters come and play this sports.
