In clashes in South Waziristan tribal region and Khyber agency 11 militants and a security men were killed. According to a private TV channel the militants fired rockets and attacked with automatic weapons at a security checkpost in Asman Munza in which a security man was martyred. In forces counter attack five militants were killed. The militants attacked a Frontier Corps post in Khyber agencys Bara tehsil. Security forces retaliated and pounded militant hideouts in different parts of the agency, killing six militants.
