QUETTA - A security personnel was injured during an armed attack in Khuzdar District on Friday while a truck of coast guard escaped grenade attack in coastal area of Pasni. According to reports reaching here, assailants reportedly opened firing on a check post of Frontier Corps (FC) on Katan-Band area of Khuzdar. As a result, one security personnel identified as Saifullah sustained serious wounds and was rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment. In another incident, a vehicle of coast guard was attacked with a hand grenade in coastal area of Pasni. Sources said that attack was carried out near Govt Girls School when unknown persons hurled a hand grenade on truck of coast guard which was passing through the site. However, hand grenade did not hit truck and exploded on the ground. No loss of life and damage to property was reported. Soon after the incident personnel of coast guard reached the site and cordoned off the area. The blast sent a wave of panic and fear among the people of the area.
