3 more killed in Balochistan

QUETTA - Three people were killed, including a woman in different incidents of violence in different towns of Balochistan on Sunday. According to police, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing at a car at Mastung area when it was heading towards Quetta from Karachi. Resultantly, two inmates succumbed to their injuries on the spot. Police getting information rushed to the site and moved the bodies to hospital for autopsy. One of the deceased was identified as Shams-ud-Din resident of Quetta. The attackers fled from the scene after committing the crime. Police said the deceased received multiples wounds and the incident appeared to be a case of old enmity. However, investigations into the incident were underway. In another incident, a woman was shot dead in Dera Murad Jamali area of Naseerabad district. According to police, accused Abdul Rashid opened fire on his wife in ward No 3 area of Dera Murad Jamali and fled from the scene. Consequently, she succumbed to her injuries. Police said accused killed his wife in the name of honour and police is searching to arrest him. Meanwhile, a person chopped off nose and lips of his wife in Musakhel area of the province. As per reports, accused Ghulam Qadir attacked his wife with a sharp instrument and allegedly chopped off her nose and lips before escaping from the scene. She sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for first medical aid and later she was referred to a Dera Ghazi Khan hospital for further treatment.
