ISLAMABAD – Business tycoon, Malik Riaz presented a latest model Corolla car to World Snooker Champion M Asif, in an impressive ceremony here at Bahria Town on Tuesday.
Malik Riaz also promises to present a new house to M Asif, if he repeats this feat in the next world championship.
Malik Riaz said this is just a token of love and appreciation for world champion for bringing glory to Pakistan. Later he presented the key of car to Asif and also offered job to him in Bahria Town.
M Asif said: "I am glad to have the new car and job offer by Bahria Town and would love to swing my cue in the snooker clubs of Bahria Town. I want to thank to all those who appreciated my performance and trying to improve the standard of sports in the country". "
To a question about the delay of cash award announced by the Federal Govt, Asif was of the view that policy is there to award cash prizes to world champions and the government would soon fulfill its promise, Asif concluded.
