LAHORE - Minister of State for Health, Coordination and Regulations Saira Afzal Tarar has stressed the need for facing challenges with bravery as this was a key for the success of working women.
Addressing convocation of Fatima Jinnah Medical College on Wednesday, she said that 50 per cent of the working women leave their profession due to these challenges.
Vice Chancellor Punjab University Dr Mujahid Kamran, Principal FJMC Prof Fakhar Imam, faculty members and parents were also present. Saira Tarar distributed medals and degrees among 253 students.
“Women are facing more challenges as compared to their male counterparts. They could not continue their profession due to these challenges.
There is need for women to face the challenges and prove that they are as brave as men. Continuing the profession is success not only for women but also for the nation”, Saira Afzal Tarar said. She said that only education could eliminate corruption and nepotism from the society.
