SUKKUR - Men and women belonging to Christian community took out a rally from Saint Savior Church and held a sit-in in front of the Sukkur Press Club on Monday to protest against the attack on a church in Quetta on Sunday.
Led by Father Waris Aman, Kashif Zeeshan, Aamir, Naveed and others, participants of the rally started their march from Saint Savior Church, and kept raising slogans.
Speaking to the protestors in front of the press club, leaders of the community said that the terrorists made the church their target and killed and injured innocent men, women and children. They said that such tactics by terrorists to create chaos and differences between Christians and Muslims were bound to fail.
They demanded the federal government as well as Balochistan government to act immediately for the arrest of those involved in the suicide attack as well as their facilitators and award exemplary punishment to them.
They also demanded the government provide complete security to the Christians and their churches throughout the country.
