LAHORE - PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Pakhtunkhwan Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai held meeting at Murree on Monday and discussed in details political situation, election matters and the law and order situation in the country particularly after the killing of 89 people in Balochistan. Both leaders expressed serious concern over the terrorist act and demanded the government to arrest the killers and award them exemplary punishment.
forms for tickets: The PML-N on Monday started distribution of forms for awarding tickets to the candidates for the upcoming elections.
The expected candidates have been required to also file an affidavit to express confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and to abide by the party discipline both in case of award of the ticket or otherwise, along with the form.
As per reports, the candidates for the National Assembly have been required to pay Rs 50,000 for the ticket form while Rs 30,000 for the Provincial Assembly.
Rs one lakh has been fixed for the tickets for the reserved of the National Assembly and Rs 75,000 for the Provincial Assembly.
