ISLAMABAD - A colourful event of the Annual Sports Day was arranged by the primary branch of OPF Girls College F-8/2.

All of the students of grade one and two participated in the programme. A spectacular view of 500 balloons flying in the air was seen when the children flew the balloons. Director General Overseas Pakistanis Foundation R Asad A Khan was the chief guest. The Principal Shaheena Masood made a welcome speech in her address and laid stress upon the importance of sports and games.

The children clawed in red and black presented a beautiful PT display. Later, rhythmic were performed by the children which was balanced with the music. The children enthusiastically participated in the race competition of bicycle and getting ready for school race. The tug-of-war was held among the healthy boys and girls of the school. The children also performed folk dance. They mostly enjoyed the race competition among the fathers of the children. The winner also received a trophy. At the end the chief guest distributed certificates among the participants and the winners.

From the smartly trimmed out contingents of the PT shows to the beautifully attired sparkling stars of the cultural dance, who never missed a step, was all marvellous and delightful to watch.
