Army assures admin of full anti-terror co-op

MULTAN
The Pak Army has assured the civilian administration of full support in case of any emergency, during a high-level meeting to review security situation took place here at Corps Headquarters on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by Corps Commander Multan Lt-Gen Abid Parvez, who expressed satisfaction over the steps taken for maintaining law and order. The meeting was attended by commissioners and RPOs of Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal divisions, Director Special Branch and Director Intelligence Bureau. The representatives of different law-enforcing agencies gave briefings on the steps taken by their departments.
HOSPITAL STARTS FUNCTIONING: The Nawaz Sharif Hospital has become functional and over 200 patients got themselves examined in outdoor patient department on the first day. Medical Superintendent Dr Raza Mohayyudddin said that specialist doctors examined the patients and prescribed medicines, which were provided for them by the hospital. Different tests for the diagnosis including ultrasound, X-ray and ECG were also conducted in the hospital.
The MS said that more facilities would be offered to the patients in coming.
