Lahore- After a historic 1000 week run, Indian film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) made its final curtain call at the iconic Maratha Mandir today. The cinema showed DDLJ for the very last time, almost 20 years after it began playing on October 19, 1995.

Owing to logistical issues of their staff having to work inordinately long hours to accommodate an additional early morning show, the management decided to end the films historic and record breaking run. The historic Indian film was also popular among Pakistani fans.
