Intelligence agencies issued five security alerts for Lahore in February

Lahore- Intelligence agencies have claimed of alerting security departments for at least five times in the month of February, regarding the terrorist attack in Lahore today.
According to sources, intelligence agencies issued the alerts on February 6, 9, 12, 13 and 15, whereas the security organizations were also given alert, two days before the police lines attack, concerning Lahore police lines, SP Umar Wark and Model town area.
The intelligence report of all the alerts was also submitted to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
On the other hand, sources revealed that five terrorists, belonging to banned Mohmind group, entered Lahore for the police lines attack.
Moreover, a grand operation has been initiated in the province for the detention of suspects.
Punjab government has also formed Joint Investigation Team (JIT) under the supervision of DSP Civil Lines Saleem Mukhtar Butt.
The JIT comprises of DSP Civil Lines, Saleem Mukhtar Butt and one member each from CID and Counter Terrorism Force.
Earlier, at least five people were killed and 25 injured in a suicide blast outside Police Lines in Qila Gujar Singh area of Lahore on Tuesday.
