PANJGUR/ZHOB - Three terrorists and a Frontier Corps (FC) Jawan were killed in exchange of fire between militants and FC in Panjgur district of Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to FC sources, during a search operation some unidentified militants opened fire at FC personnel in which a soldier was martyred and another wounded. In retaliation, at least three suspected terrorists were killed.

In another operation, the Frontier Corps recovered five abducted PTCL employees from Kanokai area of Zhob near Pak-Afghan border. They were kidnapped from Qila Saifullah last week. The recovered employees were identified as Sajjad Baig, Muhammad Tahir, Muhammad Nabi, Asad Khan and Muhammad Abbas.

Meanwhile during search operation, security forces arrested 21 suspects from various areas of the province.

WATER PIPELINE BLOWN UP IN DERA BUGTI: Miscreants on Wednesday blew up a water pipeline with explosives here in Dera Bugti.

According to sources, water supply to Sui and Dera Bugti was disrupted after a six-inch diameter water pipeline was blown up by saboteurs.

The repair work of the pipeline was underway.

MAN SHOT DEAD: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a man at Poodgali Chowk area of provincial capital on Wednesday.

According to police, Rehmatullah was on way to somewhere when armed assailants opened fire at him. He received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The assailants managed to escape from the scene.

His body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.

Police have registered a case.
