LAHORE - Gastro Summit 2018 will be held in the city from February 21 to 25.  This international event will be addressed by medical experts. It will be held under the aegis of the Pakistan Society of Gastro and Intralogy.  National and international delegates would deliver lectures on diseases of stomach and liver and share their experiences and research. Principal of the Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof Dr Ghias un Nabi Tayyab said that apart from Pakistani experts this conference would be attended by medical experts from the US, UK, Turkey, India, Afghanistan and Canada. For the first time, this conference would be telecast through web and in five cities doctors can benefit from it while sitting at home. He said this platform would provide an opportunity to enhance the capabilities of under training doctors and paramedical staff. Prof Ghias un Nabi Tayyab said that before this conference workshops would also take place and they would cover endoscopy, EUS, RFA, histopathology and other departments.

It is worth mentioning that Principal of PGMI and Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof Ghias un Nabi Tayyab is patron in chief of this international conference. Dr Israr ul Haq Toor is the main organizer of this important event. At this conference 13 sessions would take place and research papers would be read. Medical experts are giving much importance to this international event and calling it useful as well.
