Strengthening friendship bonds

Enhancing Sino-Pakistan ties in the realm of culture and information will further reinforce people to people contact. China –Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a route of peace and prosperity. It will not only be a source of economic and infrastructure development but will also open new avenues of collaboration in the arena of art, culture and heritage between two time-tested and the all weather trustworthy neighbouring iron brothers.

This has quite rightly and emphatically stated by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb in a statement prior to her departure from Islamabad to Beijing on an official visit.

According to the reports in the media, the Minister of State said further that Pakistan-China partnership under the umbrella of CPEC is quite unique. In the sense, it is meant to bring the fruits of development, opportunities of employment and provision of basic amenities not only for the people of Pakistan and China but also for the entire region and beyond even in due course of time, The Chinese leadership initiative of One Belt One Road (OBOR) will not only bind the two countries in eternal partnership for the shared economic progress of the whole region but will also strengthen heritage which is its one of the most important component, promotion of art and culture is one of the top priorities of the government and it is soon going to announce the cultural policy of the country.

CPEC is quite rightly being described as a great game changer for the people of all regions without any discrimination right from the first day of its launching and gradually and slowly more of its avenues and aspects are opening up for the progress, development and prosperity of the Pakistani people.
