KIEV (Reuters) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymo-shenko rushed to the east of the country on Monday after an explosion in a hospital killed 7 people, according to the emergency ministry. The explosion in the eastern town of Luhansk was caused by oxygen tanks which blew up in a cardiac ward at the hospital. Seven people have died and three have been were rescued from under the rubble, said ministry spokesman Ihor Krol. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is personally flying to the emergency incident, her press service said. Tymoshenko came second behind opposition leader Viktor Yanukovich in a presidential election on Sunday and the two will face off in a second round vote on Feb 7.
