LAHORE - Leaders of MQM while announcing holding its Punjab Convention on February 14 at Minar-e-Pakistan, appealed to all segments of the society for participating in the convention. MQM members of coordination committee, party members of Sindh cabinet and members of Parliament including Dr Ali Hussain, Raza Haroon, Iftikhar Randhawa, Saif Yar Khan, Dr Muhammad Ali Shah, Deputy Muhammad Iqbal and Iqbal Qadri made this announcement while addressing a media conference at the Press Club on Monday. They said party was making enthusiastic preparations for the success of the convention and partys reorganisation in the province was part of the conventions preparations. They said new bodies for MQM Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi zones have already been announced. They expressed the hope that February 14 would be proved as new dawn for the oppressed classes of the Punjab, as MQM was the true representative of the middle and working classes in the corridors of power.
