KARACHI - The war started in the name of war on terror, was actually waged against the Islamic World. The Muslim Ummah is passing through the critical time, as its members are terrorists in the eyes of America and Europe, said Jammat-e-Islami Chief Munnawar Hassan. He was addressing the rally against the detention of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui by American agencies outside Karachi Press Club along with other JI leaders and Dr.Fouzia Siddiqui on Monday. He stated that Muslims were fundamentalist in the eyes of western powers and the battle, which was in progress in the name of war on terror, was not in favour of the Muslim world. He said that former president general Musharraf and president Asif Ali Zardaris names must be called for the imprisonment of Aafia Siddiqui and other misplaced persons. He alleged that all the big five parties who were in the coalition had become the crutches of PPP and they all were responsible for the detention of Aafia Siddiqui and other missing persons adding that not a single party out of them could claim that they were irresponsible. He paid a tribute to the Hizbullah, Hamas, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and the Mujahideen who were fighting in Afghanistan, adding that they all had rejected the American agenda against Muslims through their struggle. America and Europe are on the verge of collapse and they had failed to provide humanity to the world, saying that all the missing persons must be released from the American slavery he added. He criticised all the human rights NGOs saying that why they didnt come out on the roads for this development. He appreciated the statement of the Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kyani in which he replied to the Indian Army Chief. He mentioned that Black Water and RAW were operating terrorism in the country thats why the diplomatic relations with India must be ended. While addressing the rally, Dr. Fouzia Siddiqui said that when it had been proved by the court that her sister was innocent, why she had not been released, terming it the great conspiracy against her sister by the agencies. She thanked Rehman Malik and Qazi Hussain Ahmed who played their role for bringing back Aafia Siddiquis son Ahmed. Asad Ullah Bhutto said that the relationship with America must be conditioned with the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiui. Before the rally a camp was also established for the protest for the release of Aafia Siddiqui and at the end the JI chief and others prayed for the health of Qazi Hussain Ahmed. Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, Abdul Matin Akhwanzada also attended the rally.
