827 take oath at Rangers Academy

LAHORE - Passing out parade of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) was held at Rangers Academy Mandi Bahaud Din on Friday wherein 827 recruits took oath in the ceremony.
Chief Guest of the ceremony Director General, Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Maj Gen Khan Tahir Javed Khan administered oath to recruits and speaking on the occasion he said that Rangers were not only guarding geographical frontiers of the country but also performing duties on other fronts. He said that performing such duty was not less than worship. He said that apart from borders duty, Ranges were engaged marinating law and order situation in the country and they help local police and administration. DG Ranges said that Terrorism was a challenge for the security forces and Rangers also. He appreciated the courage of jawans and said that they were asset of the country. Best performers were given awards in the ceremony.
