Islamabad - Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has installed 11 CCTV cameras as part of its measures to ensure security in the hospital.
The management at PIMS has planned around 168 CCTV cameras which will be installed at different locations in PIMS, Vice Chancellor, Shaheed
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Javed Akram told this agency.
Listing the details about security measures, he said in Mother and Child Hospital (MCH) six female guards have been deployed while finger prints of parents and every new born child were being taken.
He said the hospital was facing shortage of security staff, therefore, it has been decided to hire fresh guards. “They will be imparted security related training,” he added. Moreover, he said the management has also decided to hire services of private commandos.
