ISLAMABAD - Salman Sharif, spokesman of the Sharif family, on Saturday said that Sharif family had never got any loan or interest waived on political basis.
Talking to a news channel on Sunday, he said that the banks had given Sharif family certificates that it got not a single penny waived from any bank.  
He said a number of politicians had got their loans waived from banks.
Even Jahangir Tareen, who was an owner of three sugar mills, had got his loan waived, he said.
Salman Sharif said all the stakes of Sharif family were in Pakistan as it had always done business there.
Responding to a question, he said that the allegation was wrong that steel of Ittefaq Foundary was being used in development projects in the country as it remained shut since 1996.
He held Chaudhry brothers responsible for financially damaging the Bank of Punjab, when they were in power.
He said that Imran Khan was a confused leader, who did not deserve to be in power.
Salman said that the PTI chief had even ditched his voters and supporters by paying his electricity bill, after giving a call of civil disobedience.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had disrespected the mandate given by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said.
