I travel a lot. I can safely say that Islamabad’s roads are the worst among all the world’s capital cities. There are huge potholes not only in internal streets, but also on major arteries i.e. double roads. It seems no one is bothered. Those responsible, drive in huge SUV’s, hence they don’t feel the jolts. Potholes are also resulting in accidents when people suddenly shift lanes, trying to avoid them. They are also damaging our vehicles.

It seems the government’s attention is only towards mega projects involving billions of rupees. Everyday task’s such as repairing of roads is nobody’s priority.
