SARGODHA - Police have launched investigation into the cases concerning recovery of at least eight missing persons on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
During a meeting held under the chair of SP (investigation) Bilal Iftkhar, police officers reviewed the cases of eight persons who had gone missing in areas including Kot Momin, Sillan Wali, Bhalwal and Saddar circle. The SP directed the police officers to use all possible sources for the recovery of the missing persons. He ordered the officers to investigate locals and also get access to mobile phone data of the missing persons. “Negligence on the part of officers will not be tolerated,” he warned.
DEATH
A mentally retarded person died after falling off the roof of “Fountain House”, a centre for the care of mentally retarded persons here the other day. He had been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital but he died on the way.
