QUETTA - Unknown assailants on Saturday hurled a hand grenade at a school and burnt a college bus in provincial capital in two separate incidents. According to police, unknown people lobbed a hand grenade at Beaconhouse School at Samungli Road. The hand grenade went off with a big bang smashing windowpanes of the school. However, no loss of life has been reported in the blast. The school was closed due to weekly off. In another incident, a bus of Elementary College, carrying teachers and students was set on fire. The incident took place at Sabazal Road near killi Bangulzai when around ten unidentified people intercepted the bus, vacated it and later set it on fire. The accused managed to flee after committing the crime. Meanwhile, two people including a woman were shot dead in Kolpure area some, 50 kilometers away from here under the pretext of honour killing on Saturday. According to reports reaching here, unknown armed people shot dead Sher Muhammad and Johar Bibi in Kolpure and escaped from the site after committing the crime. Police shifted the deceased to hospital for autopsy and later handed over them to their heirs. Police has registered a case and started investigations.
