Interior Minister tries to appease Indians

ISLAMABAD While commenting on recent talks between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Indian counterpart SM Krishna, Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday wrote on Twitter that talks between both the two states were all success and it should not be taken on face of it. It is relevant to note here that in the recent meeting between Pakistani and Indian Foreign Ministers both the sides showed little flexibility on a number of contentious issues including Kashmir and the things went wrong when on conclusion of talks Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi commenting on the talks said that India was not prepared for talks and that they wanted to have the agenda of their choice. Despite all that Interior Minister Rehman Malik in an attempt to mould the public opinion in India wrote on Twitter that he judged the talks between the two sides as a positive step. He further said that the talks should not be judged mathematically as two plus two is equal to four but it should be taken otherwise as the resumption of talks between the two nuclear states after a long break itself is a success story. It is time for exchange of hearts. Lets sow seeds of love and peace so that future generations have only the option to reap love, lets save our future generation from the disease of hate and terrorism, he wrote. While appreciating Rehman Malik, Indian media highlighted his statements.
