ASADABAD- At least four militants were killed in a US drone airstrike in Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province today, according to officials.
Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Sayedkhel, confirmed the attack, saying the missile strike hit the Daren neighborhood in Ghazi Abad district. The attack left four militants dead and two others wounded. Nouman, a notorious militant commander and another Pakistani insurgent were among those killed, he added. Taliban Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed killing of two rebels in the attack.
