Shahbaz approves construction of Greater Iqbal Park and Butterfly House

LAHORE-Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has approved the construction of Greater Iqbal Park and Butterfly House in Lahore today.

The Chief Minister Punjab chaired a top level meeting in which he approved the projects. He said that Greater Iqbal Park is of immense importance after the completion of Azadi Chowk Flyover. “Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque, Shahi Qilla and other sites will be historically revived”, Shahbaz said. He also said that Greater Iqbal Park will highlight the cultural importance of Lahore. He added that a lake would also be made inside the park which would have an island in it. “Greater Iqbal Park project will be a grand example of individualism,” CM Punjab said. Shahbaz Sharif stated that the first butterfly house of Pakistan will also be constructed in Jallo Park.
