LAHORE: Petition has been filed in Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry against quashment of cases, by NAB against finance minister Ishaq Dar.

The petitioner said in the petition that NAB has quashed the cases against Ishaq Dar by way of collusion with finance minister, therefore, record of these cases be summoned.

Finance minister resorted to NAB five times in connection with quashment of cases, against him from 2001 to 2016.

The petitioner prayed that order be issued for constitution of joint Investigation Team (JIT) against connivance between NAB and Finance minister and finance minister be restrained from performing his functions till arrival of JIT report and his name be placed on ECL.
