No let-up in blackout

KASUR- People have been suffering a prolonged blackout for two days at Qadirabad due to non-functioning of a transformer.
People protested against the Lesco officials who claimed to restore the electricity; they are just working to get money from the worst affected people. The consumers said that Lesco are incompetent to readdress the grievances of the victims as they are suffering in this scorching heat. The Lesco not only has made the lives of the common citizens miserable but also left most of the craftsmen and power loom workers jobless, they said. They added that residents of the area have appealed to CM Punjab and Federal Minster to taken note of their miserable condition as blackout has cut all kinds of business activities. They warned government that if their issues was not resolved, they would observe a complete shutdown on Ferozepur Road.
BOY ELECTROCUTED: A 7 years old boy electrocuted at Patuki market. According to Police Ali Haider was playing outside beside Sui Gas meter which was in contact with electric wire and suddenly got suffered electricity shock. As a result he died on the spot.
