Islamabad - Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has arrested three burglars and recovered valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.

Following complaints of burglary incidents in various areas, senior police officials constituted a team of Special Investigation Unit which after hectic efforts, succeeded to apprehend three burglars and recovered four stolen generators, seven batteries, six laptops, 11 mobiles, one Ipad, one digital camera and cash Rs 57,820  from them.

The nabbed persons have been identified as Touqeer son of Muhammad Aslam, resident of Chak number 245 GB, Talwandi, tehsil Gojra; Nadeem Khan son of Muhammad Qaiser, resident of Shankiari, district Mansehra; and Yasir son of Ibrar, resident of Fizaia Colony, Rawalpindi.
