JEHLUM/NATHIAGALI  -  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan Wednesday said the country’s debt has soared to Rs 27,000 billion during the last 10 years.

Addressing a public gathering in Jhelum, he said corruption of Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has brought the country under huge debt and its burden will have to face by the masses in the shape of inflation.

Khan said that after coming to power, his party will eradicate corruption from the country and increase the people’s income sources.

He said the children of Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar have become billionaire whereas the nation is suffering a lot due to their corruption. He said, “Shehbaz Sharif too will have to go to Adiala Jail like former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.” Imran alleged the PML-N government had registered 32 false cases against him.

“We will create favourable conditions for investors and reduce taxes,” the PTI chairman said.

Khan alleged former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari killed the people in Sindh while former Punjab CM and PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif took lives of over 14 innocent PAT workers in Model Town, Lahore.

Earlier, addressing a rally in Gulliyat, PTI Chairman Imran Khan accused caretaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Dost Muhammad of siding with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman and Akram Khan Durrani.

He asked the caretaker KP CM to remain impartial and play his role assigned to him. He hoped Dost Muhammad would play his due role, adding if he remained biased, his party would raise voice against him.

The PTI chairman went on to say that after coming to power, his party will make four new tourist spots every year.

Addressing a gathering in Nathiagali, Imran said if voted to power, promotion of tourism to strengthen the economy of the country would be among the top priorities of his party.

Imran said in terms of scenic beauty, our tourist resorts are far better than in Switzerland, the only need is to promote and highlight them.

He was of the view that tourism sector in the area needs to be promoted and those talking of setting up industries in Nathia Gali area are telling a lie because industries are set up in big cities, not in hilly towns.

The PTI chairman said tourism would be promoted with the help of education sector. “Do not trust those who are fooling you through false promises.

They will never develop Northern areas. PTI is the only party that has delivered in KP according to its promises,” he said. He said, “Shehbaz Sharif too will have to go to Adiala Jail like former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.”

The PTI supremo asked the people to get out of their homes on July 25 to exercise their right to vote.
