ISLAMABAD - Ace batsman of the Pakistan cricket team, Younis Khan has supported Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif saying the duo should be forgiven. While talking to reporters here at Diamond ground on Wednesday he said that their return in the team would certainly boost the morale of whole team. Younis Khan was in the Capital to deliver a lecture to the players of regional cricket academy in Islamabad. Younis, who was named claimed man of the match in the final of tri-nation on last Sunday on his brilliant ton in the final against India, said, "I think Muhammad Asif has paid enough for his mistake and should come out from behind the bars.  Also, world's fastest bowler Shoaib Akhtar should be part of national team during the forth coming international competitions because we are missing both of the pacers very much," he said. Younis said that all controversies, rumors regarding the bickering in the management of the team had buried after claiming a comprehensive victory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. "However, all these types of rumors were the resulted of a defeat against archrivals India in round fixture of tri-nation series," he said. He, who played 58 Test and 170 ODIs for Pakistan, said that he did not want to lead national team and was also concentrating on his fitness to remain at top during the rest of career. Khan predicted that Pakistan would win Asia Cup at home starting from June 24 at Lahore. "Our boys are in rhythm now and after winning tri-nation there are confident to grab the title of Asia Cup and I hope boys will show remarkable performance in the 6-nation regional event," he concluded.
