In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that the peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris' aspirations. According to Kashmir Media Service, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while addressing a gathering at Ashmuqam in Pahalgam, said that the dispute could be resolved only when the Kashmiris were made a party to the dialogue process, as the issue was the matter of their right to self-determination. He reiterated the pledge that mission of Kashmiri martyrs would be taken to its logical conclusion, despite all odds. Expressing satisfaction over the realization of the international community that the Kashmir dispute needs resolution without any further delay, he said that the only way for emancipation was to give people of Kashmir the opportunity to decide their political future themselves in line with the relevant UN resolutions.
