LAHORE The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced the team managements of national, Pakistan Whites and Pakistan U-16 teams here on Friday. Olympian Manzoor Junior has been named as manager and coach of the senior team till the final approval of the foreign coach by the Sports Ministry. Manager Manzoor will be assisted by Olympian Ahmad Alam and International Ajmal Khan as assistant coaches. Faizur Rehman was named as physio and Nadeem Khan Lodhi will be the video analyst. Pakistan team will visit Europe next month and its training camp will be organised from June 20 at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium Karachi. According to the Secretary PHF Asif Bajwa, the coach of Pakistan hockey team will be announced within two to three days. Olympian Waseem Feeroze was named as manager and head coach of Pakistan Whites hockey team, while Olympian Shahbaz Junior, Muhammad Akhlaq and Rana Zaheer will be the assistant coaches. Pakistan Whites will visit Dalian, China, from July 7-11 to take part in the four-nation hockey tournament. The training camp of the Whites team will begin from June 23 at National Hockey Stadium Lahore. Olympian Saleem Sherwani will be the manager and head coach of Pakistan U-16 hockey team, while Olympian Asif Khan, Tariq Sheikh and international Khawar Javed will be the assistant coaches. Pakistan U-16 team will visit Europe in the future. This team will be formed from the PHF Hockey Academies players.
