LAHORE (PR) - Prof Dr Shabbir Ali Bhatti has been awar-ded degree of PhD, Medicine (Pharmacology) by the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of the Punjab. He is the first person who has been awarded degree by the Faculity of Medicine and Dentistry, University of the Punjab. His research topic was Effects of NSAIDs (COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitors) during myocardial ischemia. Prof Dr Shabbir started this research project while he was working as Chairman department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, King Edward Medical University. Professor Dr Shabbir Ali Bhatti is presently working as head of the department and professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Shalimar Medical and Dental College, Lahore.
