MIANWALI - The National Commission for Human Development is striving to promote education in far-flung areas, NCHD Mianwali DGM Syed Azhar Hussain Shah while talking with District Education Planning Manager Muhammad Murad. Central Coordinator Mohammad Rafique Sajid, Malik Allah Nawaz, Arshad Hussain and Rashid Ullah Malik were also present on the occasion. He further said that about 25000 workers were striving hard to achieve the target of 100 per cent enrolment in primary schools. The uncertainty prevailed among the staff and workers of the commission due to the proposed devolution of NCHD under the 18th amendment, has affected their performance and there are disappointed about the future, he pointed out. He claimed that the current situation had demoralised the entire NCHD staff and were forced to take to streets and raise voices for their rights. He warned that if provinces refused to adopt NCHD, the future of thousands of students vis--vis employees would destroyed. This phenomenon will spread panic which will result in social chaos in the country, he argued. He requested the Punjab Chief Minister to take notice of the 'impending disaster and save the worthwhile department from ruin.
